After a small break from my masters exam studies I am back to finalize the last chapters of the class readings.

Dear NVC students:

Below are the questions from chapters 8-12. Answer all the questions from 8-12. In addition, I have included questions created by your groups. Respond to one question from each group. DO NOT answer questions from your own literature circle. You must have a total of three questions answered. Be precise with your answers and give specific details. Support your answers with facts or clear information. Remember to include your name in your response. Going forward, for our next meeting Wednesday, March 26th, come to class prepared with your reading jobs typed and be ready to discuss them in your literature circle. If you are not prepared, it will be hard for you to participate and interact with your group members. When you are reading use critical thinking. BE AN ACTIVE READER. I have enclosed some verbs in order for you to use while reading. I am aware that you may find that the book might not be challenging however, make it challenging, play with words, with the characters and the setting of the chapters. Make it fun! I am providing you with tools for you to be a succesfull reader. Become ONE!!!!
I also would like to announce that we will have a test on March 31st. The test will be based on our readings. (Dolphin book chapters 1-13) Focus on characters, setting and refer to the powerpoint presentation I had in class. If you have any questions regarding your literature circle assignment, please do not hesitate to e-mail me during the break.

Chapter 7

Correct the summary.
The Controller arrived at Saul’s house in a blue and silver jetcar. Marrs was pleased that the Controller had arrived. Marrs asked the Controller what had happened and he explained that he had killed a terrorist. The Controller was pleased with Marrs and thought he should have more power. Then Captain Marrs found out that there had been two people in the car he blew up.
